The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks largely to the fantastic staff who made every guest feel at home-just like Kiwis do! The room was clean and comfortable, featuring a lovely king-size bed that coaxed me into a cozy slumber after a day out exploring the nearby sandy beach and the incredible seal colony. Breakfast was a highlight, with options showcasing classic British pub-food-think handmade Scotch beef burgers that had me dreaming of home. There's nothing quite like a good meal to start the day, especially when paired with that stunning view of the Forvie National Nature Reserve just a stone's throw away. Oh, and a quick mention about the pet amenities-they were spot on, accommodating my furry friend with ease. As an environmental scientist, I appreciated the proximity to nature, enabling me to indulge in the pristine landscapes for a friendly stroll. This inn is a perfect blend of comfort, good food, and access to beautiful surroundings-a little gem that I'll surely revisit with family or friends. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of nature, Newburgh Inn should be on your list!
